How come when Pfizer, Celgene, Merck, Allergan and the many other Pharma companies exploring the benefits of drug repurposing.....use FDA approved drugs?.......But when ALGERNON does it....we go to Ukraine, Russia and Japan...?
Does ALGERNON know something....that none of the legit and successful Pharma companies don't know?
If off label prescriptions were a big enough deterrent to be using US approved drugs...it seems like all the Pharma giants would be going to the Ukraine and Russia for drug repurposing candidates....?
Are there any Ukrainian /Russian drug compound....to FDA PHASE I, II, AND III DRUG APPROVAL....success stories...?
Those success stories would be the only ones that apply here...in this drug repurposing done wrong strategy.
As a four month old Pharma company...it seems following the strategies of the successful Pharma companies that have done drug repurposing successfully...would be the PROPER strategy......NOT using drugs from foreign companies that have never been approved in the U.S. or Europe. That seems like the opposite of a SHORTCUT to FDA APPROVAL.
