Las Vegas, NV – March 12, 2019 - - Lingerie Fighting Championships, Inc. (“LFC”) (OTC Pink:BOTY) announced today they have added Gina Cicero as their new Head of Business Development. Ms. Cicero is the founder and CEO of Lady Venom Cosmetics and a veteran of the entertainment industry.
“I have had the privilege of knowing and working with Gina for more than 10 years,” CEO Shaun Donnelly says. “She is known in the film industry as something of a miracle worker and I can attest to her abilities first hand as she was a co-producer on a popular TV series I created for Playboy TV and has been a producer and executive producer on my last three feature films.”
Cicero got her start in the film industry as a make-up artist in Los Angeles and Canada before transitioning into film production. She founded Lady Venom Cosmetics 15 years ago and has built the company into a thriving salon brand. Recently she has turned her skills to planning and implementing high end charity fundraisers.
“One of these fundraisers caught my eye,” Donnelly says, “and I realized many of the things she was doing in that field were very similar to what goes into planning and promoting a successful live sports entertainment event.”
Cicero will assist the company by securing business partners and sponsors for upcoming events including the six Las Vegas shows recently announced.
“I was excited for the opportunity to join Lingerie Fighting Championships because I see it as a very vibrant brand,” Cicero says. “I’ve been following the company on FaceBook and YouTube and have been impressed by the large fan following they’ve created in a relatively short time.”
Cicero says she isn’t daunted by critics of the company who have accused LFC of being exploitative. “I have met several of the fighters and they are some of the strongest, most confident women you can imagine. To accuse LFC of being exploitative while male fighters in UFC wear much less than we do is a ridiculous double standard that I reject.”
Cicero is on the board of the Warrior Princess Project which raises money to support victims of domestic violence. Many female fighters – in LFC and UFC – have acknowledged getting into the sport as a direct result of domestic violence.
