Fatto, if they got a big deal coming up for their "producing new, innovative, and technology-driven SRB products at its Golden Ridge Rice Mills facility in Wynne, AK", they can't talk about it. Customers don't want their competitors knowing where they source their ingredients. We may never know, just see the sales.
The line "potential tuck-in acquisition", is quite telling to me. At the March CC last year they talked about maybe buying a rice mill in Arkansas. Early December , it was a done deal. I doubt that they would raise money for a "tuck under", now if they did not know what they wanted. If Rystrom thinks they will need another mill, wow wow wow. I posted about this Friday, and said they needed a mill with-in a 120 mile radius. Well, not so. They could get stabilization equipment in a mill further away. And they can do that now right in some mills. So, it could be further away. Golden Ridge will get 32% more bran now and could probably expand that number. Another mill, same size and maybe almost double capacity and the new product could sell for much more per pound that the animal feed bass stabilized bran. I could see triple the sales in 2020,easily, with what we have a hint at now.
$12,000,000 seems like a lot. Golden Ridge went for $7,800,000. But about $4,666,000 was in newly issued stock that was about $2.90 a share. I got to guess the new processing plant costs a bit more than I would guess. Be fun if they have 2 mills in mind?
But, if they see a need for another mill and the new processing plant is done by late fall, and a new mill bought, SOMETHING HUGE WILL BE COMING. Too bad we might not know who it is with. For example, they have talked about at least 2 CC's about a new gluten free baker buying RIBT product, know who? LOL.
Hey, I could be wrong about the "tuck under" being another rice mill. But Rystrom has said in past CC's that we may buy another mill later in 2019
