I presume UC regents refers to the Regents at the Univesity of California; and they are close friends to, or are the Principals of Seelos Therapeutics.

No insight whatsoever to the company, or the IP transferred...

Well, SEEL is WAY behind PRTA (and others) in targeting alpha-synuclein for PD. And no obvious description of how they may be differentiated.
