IMHO, like most Chinese vehicles, it will never show up on American roads. The quality of materials and safety ratings are different in China than they are in the U.S. The current population of China is 1,418,022,840 as of Sunday, February 3, 2019, based on the latest United Nations estimates. China population is equivalent to 18.41% of the total world population.

The U.s. population is 328 Million in comparison and the current gov't is not Electric vehicle friendly.

If NIO can take market share in China and then India, they will have 2/3rds of the worlds population and never have to land in America to make us all very rich

Follow market trends and history. Don't speculate that this particular time will be any different. For example, a major key to investing in a particular stock or bond fund is its performance over five years. Nothing shorter.
