Ads support content creators, if you are like most people and you enjoy content, you'll want to ensure that content continues to be produced. Currency is an incentive to do so. With BAT, however, the consumer/viewer is also rewarded for allowing ads. Win/win situation as opposed to the bias which exists in conventional advertising platforms. If you just want to disable ads, you're missing the point and not contributing to the ecosystem.
