I agree.

Also stands to reason that if they didn't want to succeed, why would they keep putting out financials versus just letting it go dark? Deals aren't always cut and dry as we've seen from our own country's trade deals...if it isn't beneficial to the big picture, sometimes you just need to walk away and regroup.
