DALLAS – November 8, 2006 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) this week provided its first public demonstration of its MIPX gateway, a new solution co-developed with Amedia Networks, Inc., at TelcoTV 2006 Conference & Expo in Dallas, TX. The MIPX gateway is designed to help customers that have deployed the Motorola Next-Level Multi-Service Access Platform seamlessly migrate to an open third-party IPTV architecture.
Motorola’s MIPX product was showcased at TelcoTV as part of a portfolio of solutions that work together to enable next-generation, experience-based voice, video, and data services across wireless, optical and DSL networks. Ultimately, these innovations have the capability to create new revenue-generating opportunities and help carriers to deliver on the promise of IPTV.
