Obviously this is a nice leadup to the US launch of the UV-350 device. So Siyata will display the UV350 at the Uniden booth but they will also be at booth 1125, which is the booth of Motorola Solutions, the 800 lb gorilla in Land Mobile Radio, which is the current industry standard. Motorola isn't sticking their head in the sand and waiting for business fleet owners to ditch their LMR radios and leave them. Motorola Solutions bought the biggest software provider for Push to Talk cellular, Kodiak, last year. So little Siyata will have Motorola Solutions AND Kodiak demonstrating their UV-350 device at their booth. WHY? well Kodiak is in every PTT device so they get a 15% piece of every sale. But don't think Motorola is going to be satisfied with 15%. Of course, another reason they will be demonstrating the UV-350 is that it's the only game in town.
