I find that if I need money quickly in a trading account (I use TD Ameritrade) that a wire transfer from a bank account is the quickest way to accomplish this. You can perform a cash advance on a line of credit such as a credit card or HELOC directly into your bank account and then immediately have the bank wire the money from your bank account to your trading account. I've found this is the fastest way to get available buying power. Keep in mind that you'll be paying a cash advance fee and wire transfer fee, but that should be less than $100 total depending upon your cash advance terms.
Depending upon your bank's wiring protocols, if I wire the money in at 9:00 am, sometimes I see the money in my account before the end of the day, but always the next business day.
Just remember to pay back your creditor before the monthly fees start kicking in.
Regards,
Rick
