Mr. T. Riggs Eckelberry has been the Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of OriginClear, Inc. (formerly, OriginOil, Inc.) since June 2007 and has been its Acting Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, Treasurer since June 2007. Mr. Eckelberry served as a Consultant of CyberDefender Corp. since February 1, 2007 and its President and Chief Operating Officer from 2005 to December 31, 2006. Mr. Eckelberry is a veteran operating executive who specializes in making new technologies succeed in the marketplace. Most recently, he has launched WaterChain, OriginClear’s wholly owned subsidiary. He pioneered the early use of UNIX for commerce in the 1980s. From 2001 to mid-2005, he helped launch and turn around technology companies as founder and President of TechTransform, a technology consulting firm. In 2004, Mr. Eckelberry was a key member of the team that commercialized YellowPages.com. In 2003, he helped make Panda Software a key player in the US market as the General Manager of its US unit. During the high-tech boom of the 1990s, he was responsible for the global brand success of the software product, CleanSweep; as Chief Operating Officer of MicroHouse Technologies, he drove record sales and a modernization of its technology, helping to achieve a successful sale to Earthweb; and as Vice President, Marketing of venture-backed TriVida to what is now a division of ValueClick: (VCLK) , he was a key member of the team that commercialized its technology and achieved the sale of this technology company to BeFree, Inc. During Mr. Eckelberry’s early career in the non-profit sector, he received a master’s license for oceangoing vessels. In January of 2011, Mr. Eckelberry was named to the Advisory Board of the National Algae Association. For the fifth year, Biofuels Digest has ranked Mr. Eckelberry one of The Top 125 People in the Advanced Bioeconomy as nominated and voted by the readers of The Digest and the publication’s editorial board. The Los Angeles Business Journal has named him to the Who’s Who in Los Angeles Business for 2015.
