I have focused on the S&P500 emini lately and get frustrated sometimes with the oscillating volume. One way to help circumvent that problem is incorporate Renko, hang candles or use another method to smooth volume changes.

A good friend of mine owns Black Box and Kwik Pop. The following chart incorporates the Kwik Pop study data, specifically Dynamic Power Bars. It looks like Renko but data is compiled differently. As you can see noise is smoothed and volume is distributed better than tick data. Anyway, here are two trades taken late Friday: 15 points 10 wide for $7500

I encourage you to try Kwik Pop. It is a different look and feel but one easily accepted and utilized after a small practice period. This uses common technical studies. KP has its own study collection to use if wanted. KP can load with TradeStation, Ninja Trader, Seirra (found here), Think or Swim, AMP Mega and more. KP offers classes and one on one instruction. Find online.
