Yes! Yes my dearest friend, companies do provide guidance; at least companies trying to establish a track record and credibility do this. Proving to investors that management has a pulse on their markets and business is a key function toward attracting BIG money and one way to provide this evidence is by disclosing expectations through measurable data and, hopefully, meeting them or not missing them too badly. Even the largest companies in the world, with extremely diverse revenue streams engaged in complex markets, generally can provide investors with a sense for what management expects - expressed in numbers. If e.Digital can't (or most likely - won't), well that don't bode well.
