I don't believe a buyout is on the table. I believe the company is working on raising capital to begin Phase III trials through joint venture partnership or reverse merger deal. To much money ($100M) has been invested with successful trial results & FDA Orphan Drug status to let this completely die off. This drug could be a real game/life changer for cancer therapy.
