Visualmed CEO Gerard Dab said over and over again that Visualmed was ahead of its time and that the market was not yet ready for such sophisticated clinical apps. Most Visualmed modules were supported by an extensive knowledge base containing thousands of user cases and tens of thousands of decisional algorithms with 30 levels of decision support.
Now medicine enters a new era: artificial intelligence is added to clinical systems, introducing algorithms and machine learning. This time the market is ready for Visualmed's offerings and the market will come to Visualmed. This is a complete new beginning. Necessary investments are funded by government grants and loans of $2-2,25 million. Visualmed's partner in this venture is the biggest name in AI at the moment in Montreal: McGill University. It was McGill Medical School all along that in cooperation build the valuable data base on which Visualmed's products were based.
Think Visualmed will be making a very strong come back this year, mark my words.
