And what you can see in the info compared to whatever that "box in the cold test" was that Synavax isn't trying to say "Paint this on a piece of wood and have better insulation than foam". Plus 10 years is a long time in material sciences

In most cases we are seeing this material do substantive heat reduction in high temperature environments or preventing mold growth/encapulsate lead. We arn't talking about keeping a box warm in the cold, thats something that insulating mass is better at retaining heat

I don't think Synavax is claiming they are a silver bullet in all instances, but I don't see many other companies show their product making a boiler safe to touch for short periods without excessive modification to the materials
