Thanks. Out of curiosity I will email two of my brokers and ask them. Though I thought I asked them about it before and there was some rule that pps needs to be above $4 to be allowed to be bought on margin or shorted... that was a while back. I could be wrong or things could changed since then.
As I said I can't confirm because I have never shorted but I'm always open to learning something new.
