A heuristic technique, often called simply a heuristic, is any approach to problem solving or self-discovery that employs a practical method, not guaranteed to be optimal, perfect, logical, or rational, but instead sufficient for reaching an immediate goal.

I had to look that up to see what you were talking about, hehe. My comments are in no way directed to any person or how they should handle their investments. If you want to use Heuristic thoughts for investing that is up to you, but if you assume the price will go up in making your decision then that is where you get into trouble, as I said in my post. It's okay to think of different options, strategies, and hope something will do well, but if you assume the stock will do well, you may be apt to use up your rent or food money instead of being smart, optimal, logical, or rational about it.

Good luck, I hope everyone makes the decision best for them. Just don't assume your decision will come out the way you want it.
