MMEX-scam's inland, isolated patch of Pecos County desert paradise is a terrible location for a refinery.

There are no crude, or refined products transmission pipelines in the vicinity of MMEX-scam's parcel.

The road milage does nothing positive for MMEX-scam - it becomes a liability on the already high cost of transporting feedstock, and low-value intermediate stream "product" by OTR tanker, further reducing already negative margin.

The deprecated rail line won't help either - even if MMEX-scam's imaginary Phase I rudimentary topping unit were financed, and built, there's no customer to the south for intermediate stream "product," and no path to any potential customer. To the north-northeast, similar issues exist, so the deprecated rail line is of no value.

MMEX-scam's location might as well be on the Moon.

Only someone uninformed, lacking sector knowledge would make a claim that the MMEX-site is a "great location for a refinery."

Sounds like a great piece of land for a refinery.

When you are dead, you don't know that you are dead. It is difficult only for others. It is the same when you are stupid.
