At one point he was asked what surprised him with regards to the Opteron release. He first answered that he was pleasently surprised by the degree that OEMs are telling him that it is a great product. A few questions later he went back to this question and added that a negative surprise for him was the degree to which Intel tries to influence OEMs not to use Opteron.

This is how I recollect that interview. Hector never accused Intel of doing anything illegal. It was not an immediate response, it was after thinking about it for a while. IMO, he shouldn't have mentioned it because it added nothing to an otherwise outstanding interview, and seems to have become the focus of (too) extended discussions here. The rest of the interview was very positive for AMD's product and prospects.
