Shares of TMPS were used to pay for goods and services, if I remember correctly. (But maybe I am confusing this with another company that I follow.) Maybe someone has more on this.

If there is such a relationship, it might not be so prudent to just sell assets off and bust the company.

The deal may be that share price will be kept in a range for now to protect these kinds of interests, if there are any. But will the owners allow a huge run-up or will any big windfall go to others? I certainly don't know.

But there are risks of lawsuits if management gets too cute about restricting stockholder returns. My investment here assumes that there is a high probability that a DOD contract will create a return for the shareholders, and that this is an honest venture. It is high risk, though, because a contract may or may not materialize, and the company doesn't seem to be viable without customers on the scale of DOD.
