I was looking at the amendment to the new note and noticed the line, in favor of ARJ consulting, LLC. Strange wording on a note and yet Don Monaco signed as trusty.

WHEREAS, the Company and the Holder desire to amend the Maturity Date of the Note so that it is the earlier of (i) such date which is nine (9) months from the issuance date of that certain convertible note in the original principal amount of $1,250,000 issued in favor of ARJ Consulting, LLC (the “ARJ Note”) and (ii) January 26, 2020;

So I did a little research on the company and found they are also based in Maryland and is run by Anita John. Anita has quite the history in marketing and has held positions in some major corporate campaigns.

As former VP of Brand Marketing at CoStar Group, Director of Customer Marketing at StubHub (a division of eBay), Senior Direct Marketing Manager at Intuit, and Marketing Manager at Morgan Stanley Online, Anita has created some of America's most innovative marketing campaigns.

Her specialty seems to be in digital marketing, Again look at the companies she has worked with.

Self-motivated, hands-on consultant providing digital marketing expertise across multiple industries. Client list includes LinkedIn, Symantec, StudyDog Reading Software, Xero, Beachbody, Stanford GSB, Fisher Investments, Kabam and TripIt.

If you look at the corporate presentation, on page 4 is a business plan. Verus has stated that they having completed that 2nd phase and are now looking to begin phase 3 which is production. This is reflected in the coming mergers, with facilities on two continents.

Verus can confirm that it is in very late stage discussions with two M&A candidates, one that would represent a line extension into existing markets; and a second that would create significant vertical integration opportunities and new facilities on two continents.

Looks to me like Anshu and Monaco may be working this together and giving Anita a stake in the company. Curious to see what others take on this is.

I do keep in mind as well that Verus went with Verus International as opposed to Verus Foods for their name because they had had non food manufactures express an interest in selling in the same markets.
