Capitalize or Receivership

Good to hear you are long. Long since 2008 myself. Added big to my position this year and I am very happy. Looking to be even happier.

If FNMA and FMCC don't recapitalize, then they would have to go into receivership. Recapitalization is necessary for the share price to rise in any significant way.

Receivership will not happen because this would mean the government would have to take on a very large debt.

Therefore, recapitalization has to happen. How it happens and how fast it happens it has been heavily debated.
