About this 15 minutes thing again. I just viewed Jim Hutchinson's Noblecon presentation for the third time. His presentation is full of "we believe we will..." and "we think we can..." statements. It just seems that we have been at this development process a long time to still be legally qualifying our claims this way. I am wondering how much of this proposal type of Language will become concrete statements of "we can.." with the release of Dr. Messing's report (which many of us were expecting to see by now). I am still bothered that our CEO never mentions the considerable advantage of reducing parts of the procedure turn around from an hour to 15 minutes, which was previously proven in tests. As well of the added safety of our dye process for patients who need frequent follow-up imaging. And Jim's review of the sale of Novadaq for over $700 million still makes me uneasy. After paying that kind of money would not Stryker be committed to making that technology the market leader? The way Jim makes it sound to me is that the big buyout in the segment might have already been completed (Novadaq) and our I Blue system is potentially a useful, but minor, adjustment. My question is: if that is the case are we still worth .88 to $1.20 USD per share ( my target range) in the buyout market? I wonder if we are worth that to Stryker to complete their platform. My uncle has now lost his fight against bladder cancer and my focus is now on desiring a workable system that can make a difference for patients NOW, even if that means being a add-on to someone else's system. I remember the many months of delays in development as management waited for parts to be available. That does not engender my confidence that we can efficiently produce and distribute a market disrupting product against a well prepared and financed competitor. So, for me, the bravado of challenging a big player that they should buy us or will will gear up and compete with them, seems....weak.
