I agree with your take on the selling at that time. I think it allowed them to generate a ton of cash and set them on the path of acquisitions and accelerated growth. By this time and with these share prices they should be approaching the target share count PR'd on the 29th of September. If that is the way this plays out, it could end up being good for long term shareholders since those shares sold and bought back cheep may have greatly increased the company's value.
