"I am a private investor with nearly four decades of experience."

i'm unclear what this line means...is it supposed 2provide proof of credibility?

if so, how does it distinguish him from so many other buyers of the stock over the years who've included the same preamble (with variations in years of "experience") in their post before launching into their reasoning for having initiate/increased a position?

my sense is he bot 1M shares, the pps caved and so he averaged down by acquiring 4.2M more shares all in the belief that if $1+ was a good buy then 37-47 cents must be a steal -- and that surely the stock would recover over time...why? because he's now an owner of many shares and psychologically that tends to make us perceive the odds as being more favorable than they actually are.

when folks buy a lottery ticket they similarly end up viewing their chances of winning as higher than the real odds dictate.

now, if he'd shared:

"I'm a successful venture capitalist and I plan on being an activist investor." that would've caught my attention!

at any rate, as always time will tell ...
