In the words of the interventional radiologist I shadowed, when I told him I didn't like seeing blood

"Well that is a good thing, if you liked seeing blood your probably a psychopath and shouldn't be a physician"

Then he went on to say that people can get used to it pretty quick.

Well we got one smart doctor the rest dont seem to know whats going on.

Empathy is the ability to feel along with others. Sympathy is the ability to feel for others. People with autism spectrum disorder may appear to be both unempathetic and unsympathetic. They may laugh when someone is injured, or respond with little or no emotion to another person's grief or joy. Does this lack of appropriate response mean that people with autism feel neither empathy or sympathy?

We're dealing with medical devices that require surgery, obviously. I think most of these people attended some form of medical school. Seems to weed out the squeamish or those that faint at the sight of blood. Makes sense it has a higher rate of autism and psychopaths. Combine that with climbing the ladder to CEO and I think that's why we're seeing what we're seeing.

Hard to tell the difference sometimes between an autist and a psychopath.

If it's a binary choice. I think Bal is an autist not a sociopath. Could be wrong but I doubt it. The bash makes less than subtle accusations of sociopathic Bal long conning the investor.
