No, he didn't. I am so mad at this judicial system I could scream! For 3 years I went through hell trying. He was good at it and worked with some real pros that knew how to beat the system. We lived in one county but most of the fraud was done in another county where he had a business. The two counties both claimed the other were responsible for dealing with it. Neither wanted to take the case because all of the banks were out of state and they just didn't want the expense to deal with it. Being married to him also made it difficult. Can you believe? I was demanding that they press charges because most of the fraud was done in my name and they said they wouldn't press charges. It was too much expense to prosecute. Now if I went to Wal-Mart and stole some shampoo I would get it, but forgery is very hard to prosecute.
I also went to FBI who were much more helpful. But again, just less then 250,000 was directly in my name. Because of terrorism the FBI has had to cut back a lot and it must be over $250,000 for them to get involved. Because I was the only one after him the other $250,000 didn't matter. He had those people convinced that he would pay them back and all said they were more concerned about getting a few bucks back then watching him get locked up. He never did pay anyone.
I had him scared for a long time but the fact that he got away with it just confirmed to him that it was all meant to be and not really a crime in Gods eyes. I shiver every time he preaches religion to my daughter. Scared to death that she will end up with the same sick perspective. (Another fyi, none of it mattered in the divorce or with custody as no charges were ever filed. What a fcked up country!)
Anyway my point was in the other post. It is a sickness that religion can exacerbate but does not make all religion wrong by any means. It is a shame that that has to happen.
