I understand too because I hear it every day. We're talking about so-called "bashers," "trolls," "naysayers" or whatever other pejorative term you want to use to describe contrary posters. We head the same complaints about so-called "pumpers."

Many of both "sides" have long been in favor of us picking sides. As long as it's their side.

It's no different from the users who demand that we remove posts they claim are false. However, they would be totally opposed to us to removing their own "truthful" posts merely because someone else claims they are false.

We don't pick sides and we are not arbiters of truth. That's the privilege and duty of each reader to assess and debate.

I suspect it would be instructive for those who favor suppression of the contrarians to look back at their own history of "favored" stocks to see what became of them. For many it would likely reveal an unpleasant truth.
