I'm actually trying extremely hard to find a reason to invest in common shares so I can participate in any upside greater than what I can get in preferred shares, which for all intents and purposes is fixed at par value.

Unfortunately, I think they're going to end up with the same upside from here, which is why I remain 100% preferred. Trust me, I try every day to make the compelling case for common shares as a 10-bagger.
