I own an Arlo system for my home and the quality of the app updates has gone into the shitter. See recent reviews in App Store and Arlo support forums. Arlo has gone downhill most likely due to key members of their development team exiting. Now they are probably stuck with off shore developers trying to fix it all. This is my opinion. Same thing happened with eBay when they destroyed their app in 2015/2016.
