Its been long established that Sonny worked on Si3N4 since 2006. However my question still stands, why is he CEO? I'm not calling into question his qualifications but his reasoning. As a researcher and designer he makes the most return via royalties. His pay as CEO is tiny and doesnt seem worth the hassle and scrutiny.

The price IPOd at 5 and change not 10. That's a small drop compared to the drop under Sonny if the board removed Olson due to lack of performance.

Zimmers stock price seems pretty healthy in its range so not sure what you're talking about there? There is no reason for Hanson to announce anything until things are in place and ready to go! Investors get impatient dont they? If he announced before things are ready they might hound him with distracting questions and get discouraged if things take longer then he promised....kind of like with FDA. That looks like it'll take 3 full years to clear. Maybe the best course is to stay silent until time.
