I expect since he is using Japan as a comparison, he is talking about QR codes right? Since we know QODE isnt in use in JAPAN or is it?

And I agree with your friend 100 percent. Mobile marketing will be as big here as Japan. What I dont agree on at this time is whose platform or whose codes will be used here. And based on what I have seen so far it looks like QR codes are winning out.
