The Harvard Learning Centers, Inc. Formerly American Way Business Development Corp. Update
Nov 9, 2006 11:01:00 AM
BOCA RATON, FL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/09/06 -- The Harvard Learning Centers, Inc.(PINKSHEETS: HVLN) a Florida corporation, announces that its merger with American Way Business Development Corporation, was effective as of November 1, 2006.. Accordingly, the Company now operates under the name The Harvard Learning Centers, Inc. Further, as we have indicated to our shareholders, the Company has received a CUSIP number for The Harvard Learning Centers, Inc. and was seeking a new symbol so that it can resume trading and force the shorts to cover.

We are pleased to announce that the Company has been assigned the symbol HVLN effective immediately. Now the mandatory certs recall can take place as planned. The Company believes that, once the mandatory cert exchange is finalized, it will resolve the shorts problem once and for all. With the mandatory certs recall in place, all future trades will need to be done with the new certs. Thus, the brokers will need to send in their current certs for the new certs in order to be able to effect trades. We are hopeful that this will force the shorts to cover sooner rather than later.

Don Platten, President, states: "We understand that this process was stressful to many of our loyal shareholders but, after talking to our advisers, we realized that there was no other way of dealing successfully with the shorts. Again, to our loyal shareholders, thank you for your loyalty and patience. But now, I think we can see the light at the end of the tunnel."
