lets say u put ur money in a nice safe bond or S&P500 stock. lets say u get a 4% to 10% return in a year.
groovy
now lets say u put that same $ in an OTC that has one or two good runs each year, and that nets 500% return assuming u wise enough to have bought cheap, waited and sold high.
which one gave u the better ROI.
So lets say worst case the otc play did nothing, u broke even, or u lost 50%.
Now spread these odds on 5 to 10 similar plays.
if only one play pays off 500% you still up greatly and covered other break evens or losses.
problem is most folks put all money in 1 stock, marry the stock when they go under, and try to play on hope vs the game board of reality.
Trading OTC stocks is like licking honey off a thorn
My opinions are my own and are not a suggestion to buy or sell stocks. Always do your own homework.
