Those Hymns help with the Christian walk----or at least helps me.

Today as many days ----"One day at a time sweet Jesus, that is all I am asking of you"----We need to think about the importance of just getting through this 1 day...I woke up in a struggle this morning, the ole devil himself wanted to control my morning, or maybe I should say my mind....He just never gives up, I know when my time comes to leave this ole world the angels will really have their hands full...Back when, me and the ole devil had a (what appeared) good time. After accepting Christ the devil left, but jus as sure as there is a heaven above and a hell below the ole devil never, not even once gave up on me....Maybe not for others ---but struggling never to waver in my Christian walk is a real challenge...

I did a fair bit of study on, body, soul & spirit---interesting to say the least....now many say soul & spirit are the same and Scripture certainly teaches so, yet Scripture also in many places separate the 2, just to kick the ole brain in gear this morning-----I have a body, in my body is a soul, which is the desire for the world---that which makes me "want" the things of the world., then also in my body is a Spirit---that which longs for my relationship with God or let's say my Spiritual side. There is a constant battle, it is like the old Indian told his grandson concerning the 2 wolves living inside of each of us, a good one and an evil one, always fighting each other---the grandson ask his grandfather, which wolf won the battle---his grandfather told him---the one you feed......think on that.....Now in us we have a soul longing for the worldly things and we have a Spirit longing for the Godly side---like the old Indian---the one who wins is the one we feed.----

May I ask my few Bible Board visitors this morning---"Why are you here this morning?" May I suggest that you tuned into the Bible Board because you are right where God wants you to be this morning.....If just one little flicker of light shines through the Bible Board this morning and touches one's heart, OH MY!!! What a joy-----much is posted and probably little registers to most----but---if just one little thing strikes home with another, if a brother or sister in Christ gains a pinch of strength, if jus a tiny thought is raised----my, my, my, what a blessing
