It means they no longer have to file with the SEC and will only be reporting to the OTC. As others have stated it typically means a major event is coming in the near future.

Not having to file with the SEC takes a huge burden (both financially and time wise) off of the company. Very few pink sheets companies actually file with the SEC so the fact that GEGP got SEC current to complete the merger then suspended their filing requirement again shows that they're doing everything by the book.
