novicetrader- I believe history repeats itself

Obviously no one knows short term what the markets will do. I believe in order to make an educated choice at this point, you must make am important decision. Do you think this is a bear market ? If you think it's a bear market, then it's important to realize that prior bear market rallies of short duration(3-6 weeks) have never been higher than 14.5%, and this market on the Dow had just gone up 14.5% in 4 weeks. The only greater bear market rally that I could find, was a bear market rally in 2002 which lasted six months & was up 21%.
