Actually it's not genius. Genius would be something they created or invented, all they are doing (which IS smart), is using a model that has already been proven by hundreds of companies. It will work over time and will cost the company very little money compared to advertising campaigns.

It's basically the same exact thing as MLM (Multi-level marketing / network marketing / pyramid scheme), except with no multi-level aspect which means one cannot make unlimited residual income from simply recruiting people to be ambassadors, you must sell products to make money. However I was told they will be offering some sort of kickback or benefit to ambassadors who refer new ambassadors.

In other words, they are not re-inventing the wheel, but a wheel it is!
