BCDE, I dug a little deeper. It looks like FNMA can repurchase their Warrants for less than $52,350.51. That is if FnF can repurchase Warrants in the same way the Banks repurchased theirs. I reviewed all of the TARP Warrant Disposition Reports on the Treasury website. These Reports provide summaries of the Banks TARP Warrant Repurchase.

In the Reports, only 7 (of 147) Bank Warrants were repurchased for more than their Strike Price. (Most were repurchased at a fraction of the Strike Price, so $52,350.51 would be an outrageous overpayment if FNMA were to repurchase at the $0.0001 Strike Price.)

Reports are posted here: https://www.treasury.gov/initiatives/financial-stability/reports/Pages/Warrant-Disposition-Reports.aspx

Summary information is in the “Warrant Repurchases Ordered by Amount of Proceeds” table.
