Why can’t Prefer stay prefer and just collect future dividends??!!! Why must they be converted to commons and dilute? If they are pushing for conversion why did they invest in prefer in the FIRST place? This is ridiculous. When you invest in a prefer stock They get dividends and no voting rights. They don’t own the company, commons do. But now they want to be commons?!? Why I just don’t get it. This is why they have different classes and risk/rewards that goes with it.
