I have wondered the same thing myself. Arguably a NASDAQ listed company is anything but a startup. A company that has been trying for 25 years to make something work, either. Since there will be push back that they have ONLY been REALLY trying for six or seven years (what were they doing the prior seventeen is anyone's guess), I'd say even that is past the expiration date of a startup. The term "startup" is conveniently used here to forgive unforgivable performance.
