It was posts like the one to which you replied that made me put wbmw back on ignore again. (I just couldn't keep from peeking after reading your reply.)

Only s/he could actually claim that power and performance are strictly correlated, with no accounting for design, efficiency, leakage, etc., etc.

Even when this is demonstrably false, even if only analyzed across Intel's family of processors.

"Prescott *must* be better, because it's a fireball!"

Transparent FUD like that adds nothing to the board. It's just embarrassing for its poster.

wbmw's latest Intel jingle: "Prescott. Because it's got more watts."
