I find Can-Fite's 2.35 million raise interesting.

Assuming they had about 6 million end sept 2018 with about a 2 million per quarter burn, then having about 4 million by end 2018, so now again having about 6 million in their coffers. At the present situation that would last them until about Q3.

So I think it interesting for them to raise a relatively low amount. Why not raise more.

My thinking may be that, from the Nov 30 PR, they are still recruiting from both RA and Psoriasis. But should be near end recruitment by now, and then follow the patients for 12 weeks for Primary Outcome in RA, and 16 for Psoriasis and up to 32 against aprelimast. Positive clinical outcome may trigger milestone payments from both CMS and Gebro, which would probably be in the low double digit millions, and combined would go a good way. And set the company well for final filing and scale up?

Hence no need to raise too much now if in the next 6 months milestones may be triggered.

Any thoughts?
