Agreed- The Taxpayers don't deserve profits.

You are right the other companies were not treated this way. The government was like the mafia and took what they wanted by force. This was just wrong.

Just because some government officials decided that Fannie and Freddie were going fail doesn't mean they were going to fail.

And it was the TBTF banks that screwed Fannie and Freddie. They got away with a small hand slap. Maybe they should be sued to help Fannie and Freddie recapitalize. That ship has probably already sailed.
