So ... There a lot of people talking about a systemic collapse ... We Certainly think that is true - Our guess is that it will not happen until 2021 ... So what do we need to do by 2021 ...

1. The best advise is to not live in a city or suburban area.
2. Be dependent on yourself ... Be able to live with anything other then electricity ... And for that, Have a full home generator ... We are talking about a 10K generator, and not anything larger.
3. Have three months worth of cash outside of the banking system, and own U.S. Mint Silver coins in small denominations if barter is needed.
4. Learn some trade skills. Being able to both make repairs for your homestead, and being able to sell those skills are important.
5. Have at least 6 months of food, and the ability to have potable drinking water. Iodine Tincture is a good way to purify water.
6. Guns and Ammunition.
7. Paper and Personal products - I would say a years worth. I have always called this the Toilet Paper economy.
8. Meet your Neighbors, and work with them in case we have major problems.
9. Take some EMT classes, and be able to provide medical for at least you or your family.
10. Make sure you have enough Fuel for transportation. Whichever mode you are able to live with.
11. Have a Garden. And have a way to can or freeze goods. Two freezers would be good. Vaccuum Packing is essential.
12. Arrange for security concerns in terms of protecting yourself. This is a lot more than Guns and Ammunition. Trimming down and active health is a big part of this.
13. Have many ways to get information. Hand Crank Radios, CB, Hamm, Walkie Talkies.
14. Lots of medical supplies.

And there are a lot more, but this is a good start.
