Excellent post. As someone in the medical field, I completely agree with you. Some people foresee an interconnected national database of medical record data to be available at any ER or doctor office in the country to speed care, lower costs, and avoid duplicating expensive procedures. I don't. I think securing that kind of database and making them interoperative with all the EMR players will never happen. I believe your idea of a cyberkey personal, portable, medical record database will be the wave of the future. Even having just a prior ECG or x-ray and medicication list available would be HUGE. Should be great for CKYS long term. In the next months though there are many other great things coming our way with CKYS. Great opportunity here IMO. GLTA
