SWEET VIRGINIA GROW OP CLOSED??

It sure looks that way. Like KevSil says AG looks like they have lost their grow partner NHR. It was acquired by Curaleaf which owns some large scale grow ops and would not be interested in AG's rinky dink building.

Arizona law requires that a grow op be owned by a licensed dispensary so the claims that the grow only sells wholesale just doesn't make any sense. Why would they sell wholesale when they are required to have a retail outlet?

If you take a look at AG's original PR about it, they say that Natural Herbal Remedies is their grow partner.

The Arizona Secretary of State site lists NHR as a business still but the address it lists is a Swell Farmacy.

So yeah, it doesn't make sense that they would keep the Virginia Ave location open when they have a huge grow op on Central Ave. But when you search on the SOS site for Swell, it comes up as inactive and when you search for NHR or Swell in the AZ dispensary list neither one of them are listed.

NHR does have a Facebook page but it looks like it hasn't been updated since 2014 and the address listed is a trading post and not a dispensary on Google maps. There is a phone number listed but I didn't bother calling.

Swell also has a Facebook page with an address and it checks out on Google maps. The http://swellfarmacy.com link now points to curaleaf.

If you look on the AZ SOS site for Curaleaf you will find several entities. Most of them have Swell Management LLC as their management company which points back to principles at the same address in Wakefield MA as NHR. So it looks like NHR may still exist as a company with the grow at 3333 S Central but both NHR and almost all Curaleaf facilities are managed by Swell Management LLC which is a Wakefield MA corp. Someone else can look that up on the MA SOS site.

But I think we have a pretty clear picture of what's going on now. As KevSil stated. All the grow ops and dispensaries are owned by various Curaleaf entities and most of them are managed Swell Management LLC. There is little doubt that the Sweet Virginia grow is completely out of the picture. If AG had managed to get another grow partner they certainly would have put out a PR.

If someone is in the Phoenix area it would be great if they could swing by 2902 W Virginia Ave and see if the lights are still on and if the mail has built up.
