Hmm, I wonder why they switched to a modular design utilizing a chrome cobalt head over a Titanium head, unlike the biomedtrix monoblock system in micro and nano hip implants. Why did the manufacturer want a stem that snapped in half back to "analyze"? Pretty obvious what the issue was if you ask me.
These two quotes sound like a dichotomy to me. Replace Silica in bone and you get brittle bones. Where do you think the main area of bio accumulation may be? Let me throw a guess. The area of direct contact? the area we're seeing an affinity for osseointegration of titanium? I would warranty that osseo integration until I get my truck out of your drive way. I`m going to coin a new term for this: PSEUDO osseointegration unlike TRUE osseintegration. The difference being mostly defined by The body encapsulating the implant vs. fully assimilating it. This may be the reason why we're seeing revision surgery for titanium implants loosening ALL DAY SON. While SiNi seems to have a spotless track record.
However are we playing to win here of just get my truck out of your driveway and avoid a lawsuit? There's plenty of low hanging fruit involving metallosis and Biolox delta fracture to have to try and prove titanium fracture or loosening as inherent flaws by the manufacturers right now.
I think you`re barking up the wrong tree here, although:
and
However
I think it's like 90% is easily eliminated as waste in the body. The rest can go to weakening bone structure or whatever. I dont think they care. You might get it labeled in California but I don't think it will gain recognition as a growing concern in the medical industry.

Ok get ready bears I'm about to bad mouth this SINTX and give them my what for(guaranteed you didnt get this far and TLDR'd out of here long ago).
NO YOU ARE NOT. The implants are developed They`re sitting on Sonny's desk since the ice ages. This is some BS. Considering what we're seeing is a femoral head and what appears to be a titanium knee with SiNi coating this all seems to be well thought out. Why are we not seeing a SiNi knee or SiNi femoral stem? What else needs to be DEVELOPED before anything is actually launched? A Sini coated femoral stem? A SiNi coated femoral head? A SiNi doped HA coating?

Where is the CEO escorted out of the building? I cant find the link with him discussing launching hips in Europe within the next year from 2014. When we're discussing implanting the device in 2011 and it's now 2019 and we're discussing development?? This seems like reversion rather than progression. Is this intentional? We don't know since Sonny hasn't addressed this little tidbit and refuses to take questions for obvious reasons. Not suggesting the guy is engaging intentionally in sabotage. I dont think so. Is SINT hitting milestones? are they making progress that demonstrates due diligence? Is buying US spine and essentially running their products off the map acceptable performance as a company?
