“Casey, the last pilot did succeed, however it took longer than expected as the company did admit issues in rate of reproduction. ”

no...i don’t think it was successful at all...the silk produced there had quality and consistency issues that could not be fixed...the problem was deemed to be the result of “infrastructure”...

that pilot facility had been expanded several times to the point where it was capable of tonnage.. kim even predicted there would be tonnage by a summer, years ago...then he fell silent for a very long time until finally admitting failure...

i believe he made a statement (in some feeble attempt to suggest he didn’t fail completely) that he could have produced tonnage but it wouldn’t be of decent quality or consistency....

he then stated that vietnam’s infrastructure was the cure.....which made no freakin sense at all...but that was so long ago, i believe it’s possible that the real problem was actually fixed...

or at least it is believed to be fixed...we know it’s all good under lab conditions...if they keep it fairly close to lab conditions, there should be no problem...

but if, as some suggest, they will spread ds throughout the countryside to be produced by individual farmers in their outhouses, then all bets are off...
